These Terms govern your use of WeedWayz (the "Service"), operated by Defender Nation, Inc. ("we"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be 21 or older to use WeedWayz. We ask for your date of birth before showing the directory. Some states (for example Maryland and Vermont) require us to ask again every visit.
2. WeedWayz is a directory
WeedWayz is a directory that connects you with cannabis businesses. WeedWayz does not sell, buy, deliver, or handle cannabis or hemp products, and does not process payments for them. All products are sold and fulfilled by independent, licensed businesses, which are solely responsible for complying with the law.
3. Contacting businesses
You can call a business, get directions, visit its website, or send it a message through WeedWayz. Messages go to the business; WeedWayz doesn't read them except to stop abuse.
4. Accounts
Shopper accounts are optional and let you save and follow businesses. Business accounts let a verified owner or manager claim and edit a listing, add an unlisted licensed business, reply to reviews, see listing analytics and buy plans or ads. Advertiser accounts (for example ancillary brands and service providers) can buy ads that follow these rules. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete any account yourself at any time.
5. Listings and claims
Free listings are built from public state license records and open data such as OpenStreetMap. Every licensed business keeps a free listing; it is never removed for not paying for a plan or ad. To claim a listing you must prove you run it (a code we read by phone to the number on the state record, or a document such as the license certificate). Each state license can be claimed by one account. Listings whose license no longer appears active in the state's records are suspended until re-verified, together with their ads.
6. Reviews
Reviews are moderated before they appear. Don't post false, unlawful or harassing content, personal information, or medical claims, and don't review a business you own, work for or compete with. Businesses can reply publicly. We never remove or hide a review because a business pays us or asks us to. We remove reviews only for the reasons in our published review policy (fake or spam; conflict of interest; not about a real visit; hateful, harassing or threatening; personal information; illegal content), and every removal is logged on our transparency page.
7. Plans, advertising and billing
Paid plans and ads are sold only on weedwayz.com, not in the mobile apps, at the prices on our public rate card. We give at least 30 days' notice before raising a published price; existing plans keep their price until their next renewal after the notice period. We bill by invoice, payable by bank transfer (ACH) or Zelle within the terms shown on the invoice. Card payments are not offered yet (they may be added later through a processor that permits cannabis-related advertising businesses). Use the invoice number as the payment memo. Zelle payments are final and have no buyer protection; refunds follow these advertising terms and, when issued, are returned by the same rail outside WeedWayz. Invoices not paid by the due date receive reminders; if still unpaid after the grace period, the paid plan or ad is paused or downgraded. Your free listing stays up. You can cancel at any time; paid features stay on until the end of the period you paid for.
8. Advertising rules
Every ad is labeled Sponsored, shown only to visitors who passed the 21+ date-of-birth check, and only in states where it is legal. THC ads require a verified active state license and are shown only in the advertiser's licensed state. Ads must include the warnings, license numbers and other elements each state requires (for example California license numbers; New York warnings in a yellow box and the HOPEline number), must not use words a state bans or appeal to minors, and in states that require it (for example Ohio and Vermont) must be pre-approved by the regulator. We review every ad before it runs and may reject or pause ads that don't comply. Ads never change the order of regular results. Ad reports show only real counts (bots excluded); we never sell ad metrics based on personal data.
9. Follow the law
Cannabis laws vary by state and marijuana remains illegal under federal law. You are responsible for following the laws where you are. Do not transport cannabis across state lines.

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any business's products, services or conduct, or for indirect or consequential damages.
