Privacy Policy

We never sell or rent personal data, and we don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

What we collect

• Your date-of-birth check result (a cookie on your device; we store only daily pass/fail counts per state, not your birth date).
• Account details if you create one: email, password (hashed), name and optional phone/state; for business accounts also company, listings and billing records.
• What you send: messages to businesses, reviews, reports, business inquiries.
• Anonymous counts: listing views and button taps, ad impressions and clicks (one per visitor per 30 minutes, bots excluded). These counts don't identify you.
• Basic server logs for security.

How we use it

To run the directory and your account, deliver your messages to the business you chose, moderate reviews, bill business customers, prevent fraud, and give businesses and advertisers aggregate counts.

Advertising

Signed-in shoppers (21+) see a small number of ads, always labeled Sponsored, only in states where that advertising is legal. If you have not turned on "Personalized & sponsored recommendations", ads are contextual: chosen only from what you are searching for right now (state, city, category) and our own first-party listing data, never from your history or profile. If you turn it on, we also use your activity on WeedWayz (searches, saved stores, shortlist) to choose them. You can turn it off any time under Account → Privacy choices. We honor Global Privacy Control: with GPC on, we treat you as opted out of personalization and of any sale or sharing of your data. We never sell your data, never give your email or phone to advertisers, and advertisers only see totals.

Sharing

Messages go only to the business you chose. Business customers' billing details go to the payment processor they pay through. Service providers (hosting, email) process data for us under contract. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not share personal data with advertisers.

Location

If you tap "Near me", your browser shares your approximate location to find nearby listings; we don't store it.

Your choices and deleting your data

Shoppers can delete their account at any time under Account → Delete my account (also in the app). Business owners and advertisers can delete their account under Dashboard → Account → Delete my account; listings return to free, unowned listings, and invoices are kept only as long as tax law requires. Without an account, use Delete my data to remove messages and reviews tied to your email or phone. You can also email [email protected] to access or delete your information.

Business owner names

We don't show individual people's names on public listings; listings that are registered under a person's name show a generic name instead.

Maps

Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address per their policy.
